About VNA Home HealthOur Home Health program offers skilled services to patients in the comfort of their own homes, under the guidance of a private physician. Visiting Nurse Association of Southeast Missouri is a non-profit organization committed to delivering high-quality care to our communities.
Responsibilities
Conduct assessments of symptoms and treatment responses
Educate patients and caregivers on care procedures
Administer IV and injectable medications
Perform prescribed treatments, wound management, and ostomy care
Help patients regain independence
Communicate any changes in patient health to the physician
TrainingNew hires at VNA undergo a comprehensive 30-day preceptor/orientation program. During this time, you will shadow experienced Home Health Team Members for hands-on training. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to accompany team members on patient visits, allowing for real-time learning experiences. Training also includes instruction on the use of handheld devices for documenting visits.
Requirements
Current LPN licensure in the State of Missouri
Minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare institution in the role of an LPN
Please note that additional responsibilities and qualifications will be discussed during the interview process.
CompensationHourly rate based on experience (DOE).
